About

I am a Berlin based designer with +10 years of branding and advertising experience and over the past 8 years I’ve designed successful multi-channel international campaigns that have reached millions of users.


Since 4 years I create the look and feel of the most important annual events on Pepper's platforms globally, as well as the related sponsored visuals, working in constant collaboration with our partnership managers, our marketers and our product team.

In my career, I had the chance to develop global identity guidelines for Pepper and all the different identities under its umbrella, to establish principles for the Fintech brand payleven (today SumUp), to co-brand with internationally renowned companies such as Metro and Telecom Italia and to be involved in international cooperation projects such as the “Tropical Manual of Beekeeping”.

Analysis

Starting from the base

Before starting with a concept I dig into the project and have a deep look at the state of things as a whole:

Competition - e.g. is there anything I can learn from their approach?

Specific target - age, nationality, interests, etc.

 

Goal of the design/campaign - impressions, click-outs, sales, brand awareness, etc.

Time frame - all time stamps regarding concept phase, revision timeline, production timeline in case of collaboration with external print suppliers, release.

After collecting the information I start on the concept.

My process can get through different mediums depending on the project:

Mind maps & rough sketches - to come up and evaluate various ideas in the brainstorming phase

Adobe CC - to rework visual elements or build "from scratch"

 

Figma - to automate elements through components e.g. local versions of the same layout or prototype

Instapage - to do promotion, A/B testing or surveys.

I come up with various options that can work for the specific requirements of the project and then get through different rounds of feedback with the project stakeholders.

I implement the collected feedback and further ideas that came up during the concept phase to get the best outcome on each project.
